Summerville Book Festival debuts with bestselling authors and diverse literary events

Main Street Reads in Summerville will be holding their inaugural Summerville Book festival February, inviting book worms from across the tri-county to attend a can’t miss reading event.

This festival is advertised to appeal to all people, whether you are a casual reader, an aspiring writer or a lifelong book fanatic.

Some of the event’s highlights include panel discussions from authors of multiple genre’s, writers workshops, a free children’s Storytime, bookmark making and a Summerville walking tour hosted by master storyteller Tim Lowry.

Bestselling authors will be in attendance, such as Kate Fagan of The Three Lives of Cate Kay and Grady Hendrix of Witchcraft for Wayward Girls.

Additionally, there will be local authors and artists vending literary-themed crafts, snacks, and more.

The Summerville Book Festival will be held Feb. 15, with events running from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Some of the events are ticketed, tickets and event information can be found here.
