Torch Literary Arts kicks off 2025 with exciting events for book lovers

AUSTIN, Texas — Torch Literary Arts is diving headfirst into 2025 with a thrilling lineup of events sure to delight book enthusiasts.

Amanda Johnston and Brittany Heckerd from Torch Literary Arts said they are excited to welcome fellow literary lovers to a year filled with engaging activities and gatherings.

“Torch Literary Arts is a local nonprofit organization that supports black women writers, but we do serve black women writers across the diaspora. So across the country, internationally. But right here from Austin, Texas,” said Amanda. “QUOTE.”

Brittany added, “We’re doing something new this year, and we’re offering a writing circle this Saturday. And so we have a Monday writing circle and now a Saturday writing circle because people are joining from all over the world. “

With a packed schedule, Torch Literary Arts promises a year of literary adventures that will keep readers turning the pages.
